Find your Healing in North Carolina

North Carolina’s state motto, “Esse quam videri,” is a Latin phrase which means, “To be, rather than to seem.” As a survivor of trauma, we are often striving to seem ok. We exert a lot of energy looking and acting the part, so we can either fit in or fade into the background.

You deserve more than just seeming like you are fine. You can actually be who you want to be!

At Radical Serenity, you can take off the mask, relax, and just be yourself. We will process the beliefs, trauma, and messaging that forced you into a box. Then, we will work together to help you reclaim the identity and life that is authentic, empowering, and confidently you!

If you are tired of only pretending you are ok and ready to take courageous steps towards becoming more yourself, schedule a free consultation today to learn more about how I can support you!

  • All sessions are currently online and are available to all adults throughout North Carolina and South Carolina. • Michelle is licensed to see any clients located in North Carolina and South Carolina. Whether you are sitting at home, chilling at a coffee shop, or walking in the park, you can receive services as long as you are physically located in one of these states.

  • When beginning therapy, weekly 60-minute sessions are most effective. This helps create consistency, accountability, and the ability to best measure progress. Many clients find this helpful for the first 3-6 months. Once you feel confident in your progress, sessions are typically reduced to every other week. The timeline looks different for everyone, and we will collaborate together on ensuring your therapy is most effective for you.

  • Clients are able to schedule sessions via their own client portal. You can schedule week to week or a few weeks out. If you prefer meeting at the same day/time every week, I can block that time for you as long as you show up for your sessions. We can also discuss different scheduling options during our consultation call.

  • Cancellations and re-scheduled sessions will be subject to a full charge if not received at least 24 hours in advance. This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you. If you are late for a session, you may lose some of that session time. If you are able to reschedule within the same week, the late cancellation fee will be dropped.
